Jean-Luc's cellar now has all the tools to maximise ripeness, extraction and quality: the grapes are sorted in the vineyard and then by a modern sorting machine which analyses grapes according to their sugar level and rejects those that don't reach the required level.
The result is a lavish and luxurious Merlot-dominant blend. With our clayey limestone terroir, we experienced no real water shortage, as our terroir is the quintessential top vineyard terroir.

In the vineyard Having poured their life savings into a 0. The growing season was incredibly dry and hot. How did you cope with the drought and heat spikes and other climatic pressures during the growing season?
How would you define the growing season in a few words? Can you tell us about the specific blend you used for the vintage? What has been the reaction so far to the final blend?
The grapes are hand picked at top maturity. The grapes are scrutinized daily in order to launch the harvest when they reach their top maturity.
Being hand picked, they go through a direct first sorting in the vineyard. The grapes are collected in small crates and sent to our cellar where they go through a densimetric sorting, before starting the long process of vinification.
Each vintage is the sum of all the dedication and hard work done by a whole team to offer you the best of its abilities. Dozens of employees are working all year long in the vineyard and cellars to create the new vintage.
Each team has a direct connexion with Murielle Andraud and Jean-Luc Thunevin who oversee the complete work done in both the vineyard and the cellar.
